Renter's spouse or domestic partner who meet the same age and driver's license requirements of the renter are authorized drivers. Any additional authorized drivers must appear at time of rental and meet age and driver's license requirements.
Personal Effects Coverage (PEC) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If accepted, the PEC contained in the policy insures the personal effects of the renter, additional drivers or any individual who is traveling with the renter against risks of loss or damage. Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) for this branch is $8.75 per day. - Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. I have checked that it is not hard-blocked in BIOS. I have tried both the rtw89 and rtw88 drivers and followed instructions for those to no avail. I also tried buying a wifi usb dongle, but cannot get that one to work with linux either.
User @Chilli just posted an alternate driver for your particular device. Reboot before you run the commands. The answer is here, just skip the first two commands (start with sudo apt update).
